  • Where do lessons take place?
Face to face or online lessons take place in a purpose built, air conditioned studio in Limehouse, London E1W 3HB. (Very close to Limehouse DLR station) The studio is fully equipped with two drum kits, PA system and digital recording.
  • Do I need a drum set in order to take lessons?
No. With a little creativity, you can achieve a great deal. I will show you different ways you can practise effectively without a drum kit. All you’ll need to start with is a pair of sticks, a practise pad and a metronome which can be downloaded on your smart phone.
  • Can sticks be provided for the first lesson?
Yes. All you need for your first lesson is an open mind and a willingness to try something new.
  • What should I expect at my first lesson?
I will first ask you about your previous experiences and musical goals. After that, I’ll invite you to play the drums to assess your current level. This will help me create a lesson plan in order to consolidate your existing knowledge and further develop your skills.
  • How often should I take lessons?
I recommend weekly lessons in order to make the learning quicker and keep students motivated. If your schedule or finance doesn’t allow it, I am willing to let you know when slots are free on a one off basis.
  • On which days can I take lessons?
Monday to Thursday and Saturday. (please enquire for available time slots)
  • How do I pay for lessons?
I accept cash, cheques or bank transfers. Single or blocks of lessons can also be paid for in advance.
